La Mer features Eleni Mylona .. truly the best singer alive on the xxi century.

Matteo Bevilaqua, a good Italian, friend of mine  ;-/   asked how did i manage to get that amazing sound on the vocals.. I couldn’t remember what it was – and forgetting how things were really was a good friend of mine..

I checked again in the session and it was only basic EQing and a bit of compression..

Leo Berisha.. the best drummer in the house,  I said .. The best drummer in many houses, Dan Nutbeen replied.. at the time he could already do anyanything on drums.. We played together in college, we knew each other very well. All it took was a few words and he knew what to do: sit on a groove steady and firm.. grooving like an Idris Muhammad on steroids.

The track was primarily inspired in La Mer by Claude Debussy, in its bigness.
